Proponents of CRT, DEI and SEL often argue that these are simply approaches to exposing negative perceptions about America’s past and restructuring our culture towards more positive interactions. They are actually an ideology—a set of beliefs—with tenets that create divisive environments, promote sexual ideation and divert valuable learning time, with the intention of permeating and replacing curriculum in K-12 education in Nevada County.
